Hi. This letter is a window into my new painting collection, which will be released on March 15th. It also gives you a peek into the story that moves through it.
In a series of intuitive events over the last few days, I’ve come to learn something amazing: a significant portion of my family was born under the sign of Pisces. Three of my grandparents, all uncles, great aunts, aunts, and even great-grandmothers—each of them Pisces.
I’ve always felt the pull of my Pisces moon—the way the spirit moves through me, the fluid connection to something beyond the tangible. Pisces moons are deeply intuitive, attuned to the unseen, moving through dreams, emotions, and ancestral currents. I have long understood that spiritual healing runs through my family. After years of researching my lineage—discovering that so many of my ancestors were clairvoyants, healers, farmers, and artists—things began to take shape in an inevitable way.
Working with water has been like finding a missing puzzle piece. In these past few months of watercolor painting, I’ve begun to heal—my hips, my pelvic floor, and the deep-held memories and emotions woven into those spaces. As the brush flows across the page, my body becomes more fluid and more at ease. I walk through the world differently now, softer and with more intention in the way I show up. The water has gently unlocked what was held for so long, inviting a softening, a release, and a quiet remembering of who I’ve always been beneath the layers.
Remembering where I come from, my ancestors. Remembering a life once lived so differently, speaking a forgotten language, and feeling connected to something ancient and wise. Remembering who I truly am—not just who I thought I was, shaped by trauma and the anxieties that have guided my thoughts. Each brushstroke and movement is a return to something deeper, a remembering of my whole self beyond the stories I’ve been told or those I’ve constructed to survive. It’s a journey back to a truth that’s always been within me, waiting to be rediscovered.
I didn’t seek out watercolors, and I didn’t choose them the way you pick something off a shelf. It was my relationship with water that brought me here, that placed the brush in my hand.
Here’s what happened: a difficult but necessary redirection toward truth—all of it because of my boy. His presence has been the pulse that called me back to live in alignment with what is real and sacred. I knew that to guide him, I had to first honor my own path.
Beneath the surface of everything is an unshakable undercurrent—a quiet force that guides us, rooted in the wisdom of the land, the stories of our ancestors, and the whispers of the unseen. It moves through us in ways we cannot always articulate but can feel deeply in our bones. Like the earth herself, life is a living art shaped by the rhythms of nature, intuition, and all our relations. When we listen—without the noise of distraction—we align ourselves with this greater flow, and in that alignment, our path becomes clear. We remember.
What happens after this remembering? We surrender, trust, and let the unseen speak. We follow the pull of intuition, not with fear but with reverence. Like water, this work shapes itself to us, revealing what we are ready to see and urging us toward what comes next. We keep walking.
To trust your intuition is to trust the earth beneath your feet, the ancestral wisdom that runs through you, and the undeniable voice that has always known the way.
Let it lead you.
The preview of my new collection will be available to all subscribers on March 14th, and the collection will be released officialy on March 15th. You’ll have the chance to pick and purchase the artwork that calls to you before it becomes available publicly. There will be no prints, only originals—no edits, no refinement—just the rawness of expression and feeling as it flowed through me. This collection will consist of spirit orbs, folk women, glyphs, walking women, and soul strata—keepers of sacred knowledge, pilgrims of intuition, and mystery. Guardians of what is sacred. Protectors of magic that hums beneath everything. They move between realms, between past and future, gathering wisdom like herbs, like threads, like firelight.
With Love,
Vanja
