Hi. I’m so excited to share these paintings with you. I wanted to say that I worked really hard—like we often say, as though we must prove ourselves worthy of what we create. But this time, it was different. I worked with ease, with beauty, with grace. There was no struggle, only flow, and it’s from that place that I bring you this collection.
You can preview the entire collection and make your selection today, before these paintings are available to the public tomorrow. May these works find their way to those who feel their call. The link to view is at the bottom of this email.
Today, the moon is nearly full—99% illuminated, 13 days old, a vessel of light moving steadily through the sky. It pulls the tides, the sap in trees, the rhythm of our own blood. A reminder that fullness is not a sudden arrival but a slow becoming, a gathering of light, day by day.
Like the moon, years of practice, of devotion to art-making, have brought me here—to a place where creating feels like second nature, a current moving through me, guided by heart, by muscle memory, by something older than thought. For the first time in my journey, I feel a deep and necessary ease, a joy in letting the work flow unbound, like water seeking its path.
I share with you my new collection, Water Prayers—paintings that carry the quiet language of rivers, the weight of rain, the way water holds memory, moving always toward what it loves. May these pieces find you like a stream finding its course, offering what is needed—reflection, renewal, a deepening of your own flow.
This collection is a series of watercolor (and a few acrylic/gouache) paintings that embody the relationship between women, the land, and the unseen forces that shape us. Each piece emerges in fluid, unrestrained layers—color moving like tides, like breath, like something remembered. The rawness of expression holds space for what cannot always be named, for intuition made visible. These works are offerings, not just paintings but echoes of something older, a conversation between pigment, water, and the unseen currents that bind us to the earth.
A little note: My new new portfolio website is designed to showcase my work in its fullest form, optimized for desktop viewing. For the best experience, I recommend viewing on a larger screen, to truly immerse in the details.
With love,
Vanja
