I burst into tears reading this, "We’re returning to the rooted feminine. The one who dreams, grieves, rages, remembers. The one who nurtures and destroys. The one who knows unconditional care, creativity, and community is the ground of the new world."
I always thought my cyclical grieving was something broken, usually through the eyes of men who often feel uncomfortable with how raw it can be. But this affirmed the spirit of the feminine alive in me, and how much I long for what we are building.
I can also deeply relate to the strangeness of separating from our children, and yet how essential my alone time is, even if I'm just making beds and breakfast and rebuilding my own tattered heart.
I really hear you. We carry so many complex feelings, ones that literally birth new realities through our bodies. And when we express this creativity, we’re shamed by men who were taught to shut down those same life-giving feelings in themselves. I don’t have the energy, time, or desire anymore to be a place of healing for men. My heart is on what really matters, my boy, my art, Palestine, and the rise of feminine power. And yes!! The time alone feels so, so good! Thank you Sophie!
